ONE DAY IN LIFE
A concert project by Daniel Libeskind: 24 hours – 18 locations in Frankfurt – 18 dimentions of life – more than 75 performances
The concert project initiated and commissioned by the Alte Oper Frankfurt, and designed by US architect Daniel Libeskind, reaches far beyond the conventional framework of the concert hall. “One Day in Life” is made up of individual concert events at various locations in Frankfurt. Each programme will be performed several times at each location in two-hour intervals. This allows the audience to make their way through the musical day, going from station to station. It is up to each individual how many locations and concerts they visit (minimum number of bookings: three concerts). And anyone who wishes to can even turn night into day with night-time (musical) events.
