The new video-opera by Giovanni Verrando, commissioned by Ensemble Interface and funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evs-musikstiftung.ch\/de\/preise\/preise\/foerderprojekte\/kompositionsauftraege\/instrumental-freak-show.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation<\/a>, will be premiered at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.labiennale.org\/it\/musica\/2020\/biennale-musica-2020\/ensemble-interface-2020-10-02-20-00\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biennale Musica<\/a> on October 2. This kaleidoscopic work for voice, transformed and invented instruments, video, staging and electronics, reflects on diversity as a powerful engine of the world.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><strong>Giulia Zaniboni<\/strong><\/span> studied opera singing at the Conservatory of Music \u201cA. Boito\u201d in Parma, where she graduated in 2015. She attended several master classes on XX and XXI century vocal music held by A. Caiello, D. Michel-Dansac, A. Fischer, A. Luz, M. Pousseur and P. Hoffmann.<br \/>\nShe has performed both as soloist and in chamber ensembles in international festivals such as Bart\u00f3k Plusz Operafesztiv\u00e1l, Internationalen Ferienkurse f\u00fcr Neue Musik Darmstadt, Impuls Festival, Rond\u00f2 \u2013 Divertimento Ensemble, Casa Menotti, Ravenna Festival, a.o. In 2016 she took part in a tour in the United States with the Ensemble Musicaficta. Since 2017 she collaborates with the Opera Chorus of the Teatro Regio di Parma, participating in various productions, including Prometeo by Luigi Nono, conducted by Marco Angius. In 2018 she sang the role of Thimiau in Renato Miani&#8217;s opera La notte di San Silvestro (WP), performed at the Concordia Auditorium in Pordenone.<br \/>\nHer repertoire includes works of some of the most important composers of XX century classical music, as well as numerous new works.
