\nBettina Berger has performed in numerous international festivals such as Tage f\u00fcr Neue Musik Z\u00fcrich, CDMC Madrid, Quantenspr\u00fcnge ZKM Karlsruhe, Klangspuren Schwaz, Wien Modern, Ultraschall Berlin, Klangwerktage Hamburg, Rainy Days Luxembourg, Experimental Festival Tokyo and Tongyeong Festival Corea. She has worked with leading conductors Stefan Asbury, P\u00e9ter E\u00f6tv\u00f6s, Michael Gielen, Brad Lubman and composers Georges Aperghis, Brian Ferneyhough, Vinko Globokar, Heinz Holliger, Micha\u00ebl L\u00e9vinas and Enno Poppe. She plays as a guest musician with Ensemble Modern and Klangforum Wien.<\/p>\n

Bettina Berger devotes herself intensively to exchanging ideas and cooperating with composers of her own generation for whom she premieres numerous works. Interdisciplinary projects, staged concerts and Musiktheater are a primary focus in her work, where Heiner Goebbels, Helmut Oehring, Fran\u00e7oise Rivalland and Pierre Sublet have been important inspirations. She regularly participates in education projects designed to bring contemporary music and improvisation into schools.<\/p>\n

She studied in Zurich and Berlin with Marianne Stucki, Annette von Stackelberg and Philippe Racine and in 2008\/09 was a member of the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA) in Frankfurt. She pursued further studies with Robert Dick and Dietmar Wiesner and masterclasses with Eva Furrer, Felix Renggli, Aur\u00e8le Nicolet and Bartold Kuijken.<\/p>\n

Bettina Berger is a member of the Swiss Study Foundation and has obtained numerous prizes and scholarships, most recently from the Cultural Foundation of Germany 2008\/09, Stipendienpreis at 45. Ferienkurse Darmstadt 2012, Innovation Award Burgdorf 2013, Grant Aargauer Kuratorium 2015, and was creator-in-residence at the Tokyo Wonder Site in 2010.<\/p>\n
